Getting Here
By Train: Galway’s Ceannt Station is a 2-minute walk. Direct services from Dublin Heuston take approximately 2 hours 40 minutes.
By Bus: Galway Bus Station is adjacent to the train station, also a 2-minute walk. Bus Éireann and Citylink services connect Galway to Dublin, Shannon, Limerick, Cork, and all major Irish cities.
By Car: Galway is approximately 2 hours 15 minutes from Dublin via the M6, and about 1 hour 30 minutes from Shannon Airport.
Parking
Victoria Hotel does not have on-site parking. We have arranged a discounted rate at Q-Park Merchants Road — a secure car park just a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The rate is €18 per 24 hours. Ask at reception for the hotel discount code.

Galway hosts world-class events throughout the year: the Galway International Arts Festival (July), the Galway Races (late July/August), the Galway International Oyster and Seafood Festival (September), and the Galway Christmas Market at Eyre Square — literally on our doorstep.
