What are the Check In / Check Out times?
Your room is available for check-in from 3pm and check-out time is before 12 noon. If you are arriving early please contact the hotel directly and if your room is ready you may check-in otherwise we will be happy to store your luggage until 3.00pm
Do you accept group bookings?
If you are reserving 4 or more rooms for your party please contact us directly.
Is there a hotel car park?
No, there is discounted public car parking available just 3 minutes walk from us at the Q-Park.
We offer a discounted rate for guests of €14 for a continuous 24 hours and an hourly rate of €2.90. The car park is open daily from 7am to 10pm. Please ask one of our reception staff for a Discount Ticket before your check-out. This can be used at the car park to avail of the discount.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy will depend on the rate plan you have booked, details can be found on our cancellation policy page or on your confirmation email.
How will my details be used?
We process the personal information which you provide us via this website and collect information about the transactions you undertake including details of payment cards used. This is for the purposes of dealing with your bookings and requests, tailoring our services to your requirements, providing you information about products and services we offer and to improve our services. I’m organising our flights to Ireland and wondering what’s the best way to get to the hotel?
You have two options, you can fly into Shannon Airport and get an Expressway bus there to Galway (takes less than 2 hours). However, if your flight gets in very early in the morning you could be hanging around for the first bus until 7:55am (this may change in the future so we suggest checking on the Expressway website yourself). Once you get into Galway (Bus Station), we’re a very short walk away.
If you’re flying into Dublin, we recommend getting a train from Heuston Station and taking the scenic route! It goes directly to Galway, takes around 2 hours and 20 minutes and can be booked in advance on the Irish Rail website.
How far are you from the train and bus stations?
We are only a couple of minutes walk away from Galway’s train and bus stations! Don’t take our word for it, have a look at this aerial video which will show you exactly where the Victoria Hotel is!
As you can see, we are also very close to Eyre Square and the city centre too!
Do you have smoking rooms?
No. The Victoria Hotel is a 100% smoke-free zone.
Is The Victoria Hotel pet-friendly?
Only guide or service dogs are permitted.
Do you offer a laundry service at the hotel?
No, we don’t. However, our reception team can recommend some local businesses who can help you with this if you ask them upon checking in.
Is there internet access?
Yes, free Wi-Fi internet is available in public areas and all our bedrooms.
