The Victoria Hotel sits on Victoria Place, just off Eyre Square in the centre of Galway. It’s a 3-star hotel with a proper sense of place — Victorian bones, a good restaurant, and a team that knows the city inside out.

The hotel has been refurbished throughout, with double, twin, triple and family rooms spread across the upper floors. Downstairs, Queen Street Bar & Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch — it’s become a destination in its own right, recognised by the Galway Advertiser and booked out most Friday nights.

The location is hard to beat. Eyre Square is a two-minute walk. Shop Street, the Latin Quarter, and Quay Street are five minutes. The train and bus station are around the corner. And if you’re heading west to Connemara, the Cliffs of Moher, or the Aran Islands, you’re starting from the right spot.
